Tips from the Treatment Room

Suffering from Tennis Elbow??
Tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis) isn't just for tennis players! It is a  common overuse injury affecting the tendons on the outside of your elbow joint and is usually caused by repetitive wrist actions especially when the elbow is flexing & straightening:lifting, gardening, or using tools.

Simple Physio tips to get over it and get back to doing what you do best:

1. Rest and Modify Activities: Avoid or modify the activities that aggravate your symptoms. Small changes like using your other hand or adjusting your grip can reduce strain.

2. Ice the Area: Apply ice for 20-30 minutes a few times a day to reduce inflammation and pain, especially after activity.

3. Hands-On Physio Treatment: Manual therapy, dry needling, and massage can help improve the pain & reduce stiffness.

4. Targeted Strengthening: Once pain starts to ease, rehab exercises to strengthen the forearm and wrist muscles are key to long-term recovery and preventing recurrence.

5. Don’t Delay Help
Early treatment = faster recovery. If your elbow pain persists, book in with your Physio to get an accurate diagnosis and personalised plan.

Remember: With the right physio support, tennis elbow is very treatable. Don’t put up with pain—get back to doing what you love, pain-free.

Say Goodbye to Headaches—The Hands-On Physio Way

Have you been bothered by headaches for a long time and tired of taking analgesia tablets to survive life? Well there’s a better way. At FullLife Physio®, we tackle the root cause of many common headaches with expert hands-on treatment.

While there are numerous causes of headaches of more medical origins - there is a subset of headaches known as “Tension headaches or cervicogenic headaches” (those stemming from the neck), and even some migraines can be triggered by tight muscles, joint stiffness, and poor posture. Our Physiotherapists use targeted manual therapy, soft tissue release, dry needling, and neck mobilisation to relieve tension, restore movement, and ease the pressure—fast.

The result? Fewer headaches. Less intensity. More freedom to get on with your day.

If you’re ready to stop managing the symptoms and start fixing the source, book an appointment today. Your head will thank you.
